Dalia Ibelhauptaitė

Dalia Ibelhauptaitė was born in Vilnius, on May 4, 1967. In 1990, she graduated from Lunacharsky State Institute for Theatre Arts in Moscow (the course of Mark Zakharov). The artist has been residing and working both in London and Vilnius since 1991. She has conducted acting masterclasses in various countries. In 2012, the director became a co-founder of the public enterprise Vilnius City Opera (called “the Bohemians” in 2006-2012). Dalia Ibelhauptaitė has directed numerous drama performances in various theatres of London as well as operas throughout Great Britain, Holland and Lithuania. In 2011, she was granted the Order for Merits to Lithuania (Cross of the Knight).
