Rimantas Teresas

Rimantas Teresas was born in Kuršėnai, on August 16, 1955. In 1981, the artist completed his studies in the Mastery of Acting at Lithuanian State Conservatoire (the course of Irena Vaišytė). During 1983-1987, the director gave lectures at the Conservatoire. In 2008-2009, the artist was employed as a lecturer at the Šiauliai University. Since 2013, Rimantas Teresas has been giving lectures at the Panevėžys University of Applied Sciences. Rimantas Teresas has been employed as an actor at the Panevėžys Drama Theatre since 1981, and was also the head of this theatre (renamed to Juozas Miltinis Drama Theatre in 1995) from 1996 to 2010. The artist has performed various roles in drama performances and has directed video films. His earlier works include, inter alia: The Bourgeois Gentleman (French: Le Bourgeois gentilhomme) and The Miser (French: L’Avare) by Molière.
